High risk offender released

In the interest of public safety, the Calgary Police Service is issuing the following public information and warning in regards to the release of an inmate. Charley Laurence HENDERSON, 22, was released from Winnipeg to the Calgary area, after completing a 20 month and 20 day sentence followed by a three year Probation Order for Sexual Assault and Indecent Assault charges. HENDERSON also has a history of Assault with a Weapon and Armed Robbery. He will now be monitored by the Calgary Police Service High Risk Offender Program and Probation. HENDERSON has committed all of his past offences in the community of Winnipeg, Manitoba HENDERSON is described an Aboriginal male, 6’4” tall, approximately 235 lbs. with brown hair, and brown eyes. The Calgary Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation and consideration of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest to inform the members of the community of the release of HENDERSON.
